Welcome to the Church of the Sacred Body!
The Church of the Sacred Body is a non-hierarchical religious organization based around the spiritual exploration of bodily autonomy.
The Church exists to give voice and community to people whose spiritualities are often left out of mainstream religious conversation. The church is trans-led and centers trans experiences, but all are welcome. Manyy of us find a connection to spirit in the act of transition, or in exercising control over our bodies.
We do not require a belief in any specific God or way of defining spirit, but rather see ourselves as people in spiritual conversation with each other around spiritual ideas. Our belief is in prosocial bodily autonomy and beyond that, we are non-dogmatic.
